Greetings from Hope Church

Happy New Year!...the New Year of the

Church begins with the season of Advent.

It is a time to help us prepare and celebrate the fulfillment of our

longing for the Savior with the birth of Jesus.

The lighting of the four candles during Advent,

becomes an important symbol of the season.

The light reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world that

comes into the darkness of our lives to bring newness, life and hope.

"Everything Has Its Time" (Ecclesiastes3:1-8)

For everthing there is a season and a time

for every purpose under heaven.

God arranges even the smallest details of our surroundings.  No matter which way we approach the subject of purpose, we have no choice but to believe that everything in the universe and every person has a purpose, God would not have created something without purpose.

Merry Christmas!
